This kind of role is usually seen on the Second ML. His love for main female lead is unconditional, he always want to sacrifice himself for the sake of his lover. Usually when there is a love triangle, i always felt bad for the second male lead but here the male main lead makes you wish that you met him in real life. I didn't felt compelled watching the whole 36 episodes in one sitting. It is not that great but it is not bad also. Usually a story that is adapted from a novel turns out to be great that is why i was hooked from the beginning until the end.
