The lights come on after a second or two delay when turning the car on.
I checked the actuator and it is making no funny noises, so that sounds fine. The only weird thing I noticed was it wouldn't pull up the cruise control when I pressed the button on the steering wheel. Fixed and everything runs good, no problem, no lights on.Ī few days ago the 4x4 and brake lights turned on yellow, but I still drove it fine with no problems. So I got a new battery (cheaper one) from my local Autozone and installed it on January 7th. Since it was in Denver, CO and the weather was cold when I got home the battery was completely dead. So I was out of town for two months and left my BMW in the garage for that time. I know this is a common problem in older BMW's, especially after a battery change.
